This knife wielding man in a Walmart gets subdued by heroic bystanders, after one customer takes it upon himself to save the day with a glorious swing of a stanchion.

The knifeman appears to take out his weapon and start swinging after a verbal altercation with another customer, and his aggressive and erratic movements mean he is an immediate threat to all around him. Instead of fearing for their lives, shoppers seem quite eager to stand around and watch the spectacle. "He's doing Dave Chapelle," one woman says, whatever she means by that. Fortunately, the knifeman is not a threat for long, as the man behind him brings a stanchion down on his head like a blacksmith foraging a sword.

The saying goes, never bring a knife to a gunfight. We may need to add stanchion to that list.
